MBG adds animated and educational content catalogs to Mediabaza

Through Mediabaza, operators can order channels distributed by MBG, including the popular science channel CuriosityStream, the children’s channel Kids TV, and the entertainment channel Extreme.
A key development is the addition of a substantial library of popular science films and MBG’s animated projects to Mediabaza, which gives operators and online platforms maximum flexibility in expanding their content catalogs.
Mediabaza now features the library of CuriosityStream, a globally recognized brand created by Discovery founder John Hendricks. The collection includes award-winning science films and series, as well as nature and wildlife documentaries, many of which are original non-fiction productions. This enables operators and broadcasters to curate thematic VoD collections and enrich channel programming schedules with content across a range of genres: science, history, nature and wildlife, lifestyle, and technology. Among the featured titles are the documentary Stephen Hawking’s Favorite Places, The Secret Life of Big Cats, Planet Insect, and Birth of the Solar System.
MBG has also uploaded a selection of animated projects from internationally acclaimed studios to Mediabaza. This collection enables audiovisual services and TV channels to efficiently expand their children’s VoD offerings and programming grids with content from well-known projects such as Larva, Dinocore, Ella, Oscar, & Hoo, and others.
“Uploading our VoD libraries to Mediabaza is a logical step in expanding our partnership. The platform serves as a tool for building business connections between distributors and buyers. Its purpose is to help both sides find each other and enrich their projects with exclusive materials from our extensive portfolio, which includes animation, educational programs, and documentaries. We have placed content with the broadest rights package at Mediabaza, making it available for acquisition by both TV channels and VoD services,” Irina Davydenko, MBG Business Development Director, commented.
“We can see growing demand for high-quality, thematic VoD content that can be smoothly integrated into existing services. The addition of MBG’s libraries significantly strengthens our offering. It simplifies the licensing process and helps our partners respond quickly to audience needs.” Grigory Kuzin, Director of MSK-IX Media Platforms, noted.
