Mediabaza unveils solutions to accelerate media distribution and compliance

The speakers emphasized that Mediabaza is designed above all to establish a unified digital environment connecting rights, assets, and localization, significantly reducing the period between contract signing and content release on VoD platforms, television, or in cinemas.
“Our task is to make sure content creators, distributors, and service providers no longer deal with a chaotic flow of emails and spreadsheets, but instead work within a single digital interface: from content cards to final signal delivery,” Grigory Kuzin said, describing the transformation of industry processes.
The presentation detailed the platform’s architecture, built around converting content into a fully manageable digital asset. Its core element, the Content Card, acts as an industrial-grade unified ID for a media product, consolidating all essential information from editorial descriptions and technical specifications to legal restrictions.
The integrated storage module, Mediabaza Disk, is a cloud system where master files and content versions are automatically linked to their corresponding cards. The third component, the Service Portal, enables market participants to integrate all required distribution-stage services from AI-based translation and subtitling to dubbing and playout.
Special attention was given to features aimed at boosting efficiency and minimizing legal risks. The platform incorporates a Compliance by Design concept, which includes automated AI analysis of content for compliance with local legislation and generates time-coded reports highlighting potentially sensitive segments.
Dmitry Rassadin demonstrated practical advantages for industry users. He noted that Mediabaza now supports a bulk ordering workflow for buyers, including operators and OTT platforms.
“This saves hours or even days of correspondence and approvals, especially when dealing with dozens of channels or large content packages for new platforms or new regions,” Rassadin explained.
Collaboration with partners is carried out digitally within the Deals module, which provides a transparent registry of requests, statuses, and communications.
In conclusions, the speakers outlined the platform’s development roadmap, which includes deeper integration of AI services and the evolution of Mediabaza into a content-centric CRM system, designed to maximize aggregation, transparency, and process consistency for all players across the media industry.
